As part of the pilot project of monetization of one-time assistance “baby package” at the suggestion of the Ministry of Social Policy, an Internet platform was introduced, where primarily domestic manufacturers are given the opportunity to place children’s products and “baby package” in kind.
The online platform will allow parents to easily choose the necessary products or a complete “baby package”. This was discussed at a meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine and the Association of Manufacturers with national producers of children’s goods and other economic entities in the field of trade in children’s goods.
During the event, the parties discussed common qualification requirements for platform participants, common rules of cooperation for fair, transparent competition and proposals of participants on the most favorable conditions for the implementation of the social program. The

As of September 17, 2020, PrivatBank Commercial Bank JSC issued social cards for the payment of one-time in-kind assistance to a “baby package” to 25.6 thousand parents of newborns. 13,800 applications for monetary compensation were registered in the social protection system, of which 10,000 were included in the payment. The expected date of transfer of monetary compensation to the special accounts of recipients – 24.09.2020. The pilot project was joined by 25 retailers (legal entities and individuals), who entered information on 61 outlets in the Register of Trade Institutions: 11 Internet and 50 land-based stores.
