September 9 2020 year a meeting was held between the heads of leading business associations with the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Irina Venediktova, who promised to make every effort within her powers to create favorable conditions for the introduction of business in Ukraine.

Alexey Bonyuk Head of the Department of Investment Protection of the UCP made a short presentation on how many illegal cases were closed and raider seizures were stopped over the past few months.

Mikheil Saakashvili drew attention to the potential threats of increased corruption at customs in connection with the latest appointments of the heads of regional customs.

Representing the interests of Rada Business and the Association of Producers, I expressed my opinion that the office of the Attorney General should pay attention to the fact that law enforcement agencies often “nightmare” white business instead of actively engaging in shady businesses, which by the way are blooming and not going to close. Moreover, the active joint work of the DPS and DFS in the fight against twists, which has recently been observed by the heads of business associations, has come under threat due to the disconnection of access to the DFS employees' database. To this, Deputy Prosecutor General Oleksiy Symonenko said that it was a technical problem and at the moment it has already been eliminated.

It was decided to create a working group of representatives of business associations and UCPs. I would like to hope that such meetings will lead to an improvement in the investment climate in the country.
