On November 6, at 14:00 in front of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy (Lipskaya Street 3), a promotion will take place in support of the introduction of the tax on the withdrawn capital.
Draft Law No.8557 “On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine Regarding the Tax on Leverage” was developed with the participation of experts from the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of the Interior, people’s deputies, experts and business representatives. The draft approved by the Cabinet of Ministers and three months ago, introduced by the President to the Parliament as urgent.
The Ukrainian Business Council, which includes 68 business associations of small and medium-sized businesses, the Ukrainian Entrepreneurs Association and other business community, have identified this bill as their top priority and repeatedly stressed the need for its adoption in 2018.
At present, there are high risks of not adopting the bill, or extending its action to small and medium businesses.
Therefore, on Tuesday, November 6, at 14:00 immediately before the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Tax and Customs Policy, an action will be held for the urgent adoption of the draft law No. 8855, which will liquidate the corrupt income tax and introduce a tax on the withdrawn capital instead.
During the event, the participants of the action (first of all – representatives of small and medium business) will provide their estimates for the taxation of the withdrawn capital.
The position of opponents of this reform, representatives of several financial and industrial groups that use offshore schemes and deduct their profits abroad, will be presented as a flash mob.
According to expert estimates, the implementation of the PNVC will facilitate business activity in Ukraine, significantly improve tax administration, reduce discretion, reduce the opportunities for withdrawal of capital to offshore, create conditions for shadowing of the economy and stimulate investment activity.
We invite everyone who is not indifferent to take part in the action.
